"Last year we completed a dream project to open up the rear of our house by knocking through two rooms and creating a wonderful new light and airy kitchen with full glass sliding doors to the patio and garden. This has completely changed the nature of our property and brought the garden into play as part of our much-valued living space. Having been in the property for twenty years, we had long-considered how we could better-utilise the space by reducing the number of rooms downstairs and creating a larger and lighter communal space as the kitchen, but had been overwhelmed by the perceived complexity and cost of such a project."
